Dry batteries
The collection of dry batteries is carried out in collaboration with the Chambre des Métiers, the Fédération des Artisans, the Chambre de Commerce and the Confédération de commerce. Collection containers can be found in supermarkets, specialized shops and many public places. Many supermarkets and specialized shops have participated in the action ‚Clever Akaafen – wiederaufladbare Batterien und Ladegeräte’(buy clever – reloadable batteries and chargers).
Medication and syringes
The collection of medication and syringes is carried out in collaboration with the Luxembourg pharmacies (Syndicat des Pharmaciens Luxembourgeois). Almost all pharmacies take back old medication and syringes. Collection boxes for syringes are available for free from the pharmacies.
Gas lighters
SuperDrecksKëscht®, Heintz van Landewyk and HORESCA have installed lighter boxes in shops, gas stations and restaurants to collect gas lighters. For safety reasons used gas lighters – many of which still contain inflammable gas, which is also dangerous for the climate – should be collected separately.
