For the school year 2009/2010 the SuperDrecksKëscht has again organized an art competition for schools. Pupils and students had the task to create art works from electronic waste without any limits to their creativity. They could use any parts of electrical appliances, CD, cables, etc.. The objects are posted on our website where you can rate them
Households without pesticides
In Luxembourg waters the presence of pesticides has been regularly detected in recent years. This is the case for ground water, water flows and lakes. Water analyses show that a large part of these pesticides are not coming from the agricultural use but from a public and private use.
The SuperSpillMobil
Children are the best multipliers for environmentally correct behavior. Therefore, we try to inform them through playing and guide them to act in an environmentally friendly way.
This thought led to the creation of the SuperSpillmobil, a transformed SuperDrecksKëscht®- Container, which is mobile, not impacted by weather conditions and thus usable in many ways.
Safe disposal of electrical heating appliances
Electrical storage heaters were for a long time an economical and practical alternative to fuel and gas heaters. The transformation of electricity into heat was clean and comfortable. The advantages are that appliances hardly wear out, require no maintenance costs and electricity is almost available everywhere without major interventions in the building structure (no piping, no chimney)
Clever akafen- environmentally friendly washing
Recently the campaign "Clever akafen" promotes ecological detergents in trade. Beside the choice of an environmentally friendly detergent the washing behaviour is also important.
